“Googley Philanthropy”: Brainstorming for A Talk with Jeff Jarvis

Jeff Jarvis

Philanthropy New York is pleased to welcome Jeff Jarvis, author of What Would Google Do? and Associate Professor and Director of the Interactive Journalism Program at the City University of New York to our offices for an October 1st discussion on how Google’s model can be applied to the philanthropic sector.

Mr. Jarvis has asked readers of his blog for their ideas on how “a transparent, networked, collaborative, even open-sourced, process-oriented, beta philanthropy as a platform” would operate. Our readers are encouraged to offer their insights as well.
